Congress and BJP described the ‘third front’ as a mirage

After their rally in Tumkur, Karnataka to formally launch the Front, they are now meeting in Delhi.

All the four Left parties and the parties with which the they have an electoral understanding with, will meet at the CPM office on Sunday evening.

Apart from those, Janata Dal (Secular), the AIADMK, TDP, TRS, and even the Biju Janata Dal will have a discussion on formulating a joint election appeal against the NDA and the UPA.

The Congress, along with the BJP, has consistently described the third front as a mirage. However, it was forced to take cognisance of the formation, after its ally the NCP made noises that could be seen as reaching out to the nascent formation.
