India Elections : Farooq Abdullah to contest from Srinagar

Ending weeks of suspense, ruling National Conference on Monday decided to field its president Farooq Abdullah from prestigious Srinagar Lok Sabha seat, even as he remained undecided to contest the polls, slated to be held on May seven in the fourth phase of elections.

To a query that he contested from two assembly constituencies in last assembly polls and later contested the Rajya Sabha polls from the state and now jumping in the fray for Lok Sabha, Abdullah said “My life will end fighting elections”.
