Bihar Elections Results : NDA leads in 52 seats, RJD-LJP on 10

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was surging ahead in 52 of the 75 constituencies of Bihar for which trends were available on Wednesday morning.

The Lalu Prasad-led RJD is ahead of it rivals in 5 seats while its alliance partner is leading in 5 seats. Congress is leading in five constituencies.

In Chanpatia, BJP nominee Chandramohan Rai is leading over his nearest LJP rival Seikh Sarfuddin. While BJP candidates were leading in Bettiah, Sikta, Bhagalpur, Ramnagar, and Benipatti, JD(U) was ahead of RJD in Balmikinagar, Mahisi, Jhanjharpur and Bagha.

The counting started at 8 AM on Wednesday amidst tight security arrangements for all 243 constituencies. BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Chaubey and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother Pashupati Nath Paras are leading from their respective seats.

Former chief minister Rabri Devi is leading from Raghopur.
