Before UP assembly elections BJP has promised to development of Bundelkhand and eastern UP, Nitin Gadkari here on Monday said that the party wants to change the future of UP. You can donate eyes, but cant donate vision, he said, adding that it is necessary to identify the plus and minus points of the state for better planning to develop it. He said the 21st century is meant for development politics. According to him, UP needs adequate power supply to bring revolutionary changes in agriculture.
The party said inspiration can be drawn from Israel which produces cash crops and flowers by using little water. If the party is voted to power, it would seek help from Israeli scientists. More crop per drop the party has fixed this as its target for Bundelkhand. Regarding possible development of tourism in the region, it has said that as per a Planning Commission report the area has more heritage sites than Rajasthan and these can be utilised to bring in tourists.
