Congress leader and Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Mohd Jani urged his party to provide sufficient seats for the Muslim community during the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections as they were supporting the party in the State.

Congress to allocate 25 Assembly and three Lok Sabha seats to Muslims and one Lok Sabha seat for the Christian community in the coming elections.
